Can I do it?

Yes! You can require students to complete certain activities and/or move through modules in a specific order by setting up Module Requirements. Once you add requirements to a module, you can use that module as a Prerequisite for subsequent modules in your course.

How do I do it?

Add Module Requirements

Locate the name of the module and click the Options icon (3 vertical dots).
Select “Edit” from the drop-down menu.
Click “Add Requirement”.
Select from the Requirements options:
- Students must complete all these requirements.
- Students must move through requirements in sequential order.
- Student must complete one of these requirements.
Add the required items Module items.
- Select “Add Requirement” to include additional items.
Select how each item must be completed from the item’s corresponding drop-down menu.
Click “Update Module”.

Add Module Prerequisites

Locate the name of the module and click the Options icon (3 vertical dots).
Select “Edit” from the drop-down menu.
Click “Add Prerequisite”.
Select a module from the drop-down menu.

The module you select must have been assigned “Requirements”.

Click “Update Module”
